My stay at this hotel raised serious concerns about both hygiene and guest safety, leading me to check out early — after only 3 nights out of the 5 I originally booked. I left without any refund for the remaining nights, simply because I no longer felt comfortable or safe staying there.
On the third day, I returned to my room around 6:45 PM after being out since 2:20 PM, only to find that no housekeeping had been done — the trash hadn’t been emptied, no towels were provided, and the bathroom smelled strongly of sewage, which had been an ongoing issue. Despite the hotel’s listing on Agoda clearly stating “daily disinfection of all rooms,” the staff insisted that it was my responsibility to request cleaning in advance because theft by housekeeping staff happens, which I was never told during check-in.
Even more frustrating, the room was cleaned the day before without any request, clearly contradicting their explanation. When I raised this inconsistency, the heavy-set female front desk staff member offered no apology, took no responsibility, and instead blamed me.
I told her that shifting the blame to the guest — without a simple apology — was unacceptable. At this point, she raised her voice, repeatedly interrupted me, and insisted they “follow the manual.” When I calmly asked her not to raise her voice, she challenged me aggressively, asking “Then what do you want?” I replied that I expected a sincere apology — and was instead met with mockery: “Sooorry~ dear guest,” she sneered sarcastically before abruptly closing my room door and walking away.
The combination of unsanitary conditions, a strong sewer odor, and a hostile, unprofessional staff response made me feel not just disrespected, but unsafe. I chose to forfeit the rest of my reservation and leave early, because staying any longer was simply not an option. Yes, a waste of money, but what other choice did I have?
If you care about cleanliness, safety, and basic respect, I strongly advise staying elsewhere.

Great location with an amazing view, but unfortunately, it doesn’t make up for the downsides. The room had a terrible smell, like sewer and humidity, which made our stay uncomfortable. There were no towels provided, and the included breakfast was really disappointing. To top it off, they didn’t clean the room at all during our stay. I would recommend considering other options before booking here

Emplacement compliqué à trouver, l’hôtel est situé au 11ème étage dans un immeuble avec d’autres hôtels , et il est indiqué en coréen… repérer le logo en forme d’aile pour trouver l’hôtel. Entrée pour accéder à l’ascenseur à côté d’un magasin de jeu.

• grande chambre (suite Hinoki)
• literie confortable , grand lit
• très belle vue sur la mer et plage (pas sur le pont depuis la chambre qui était dans le couloir à droite de la réception)
Les - :
• odeur très désagréable dans la chambre (remontée de canalisation, mer, poisson)
• pas de miroir plein pieds
• moisissures dans la douche et baignoires (noir au niveau des joints)
• rideaux pas occultants
• Clim qui ne fonctionne pas (après une journée à 18°C et grand soleil , il faisait 30°C dans la chambre (avril))
• fenêtres sales avec des résidus mous et collants sur la vitre
• pas de sonnette 🛎️ à la réception j’ai du attendre 20/30min qu’un monsieur (client) appelle la dame sur son téléphone car elle faisait les chambres (elle avait laissé un mot en Coréen avec son numéro de téléphone, je ne lis pas le coréen et ma puce ne me permettais pas d’appeler donc il m’a sauvé j’aurais pu attendre toute la journée)
• 4 petites serviettes de bain
• pas de porte savon (j’ai du le laisser poser dans le lavabo ou directement sur le marbre)
• plusieurs fois il y a eu un bruit assez fort dans la chambre mais impossible de comprendre ce que c’était. Ce qui m’a dérangé pendant mon sommeil

O quarto é bom, a vista maravilhosa, cama super confortável. Elevador espaçoso, sala do café da manhã bem pequena e café da manhã bem simples. Atendimento simpático e atenciosos, no ajudaram qdo foi necessário. A Dusche tem um cheiro mau as vezes, mas é só fechar a porta. O WC entupiu, mas eles resolveram. O ar condicionado que pingou bastante dentro do quarto e tivemos sorte que por pouco não pingou dentro da mala.

My wife and I chose to stay at the Hotel Pimavera in Busan for the last stop of our honeymoon, as it appeared to be the perfect way to finish our trip. Unfortunately, our hopes of ending our honeymoon with a relaxing stay (based on photographs and some TikTok videos depicting it as a lavish hotel) were quickly diminished the moment we entered our room.||Upon entry to the room we were given, we were immediately confronted with an overpowering smell of sewerage, particularly in the bathroom area (which you do not have the ability to close off from the rest of the room as it is an open space plan) so the smell lingers in the entire room.||Unbeknown to us was mould festering throughout the room, most notably in the wooden bathtub (mind you, the wood is also untreated) and the shower floors and shower head. Mould was also identified on the walls next to the bed and dark coloured stains were identified on the mattress cover.|Based on previous reviews, it appears that the condition of the rooms in Hotel Pimavera within the last year or so have worsened and the owner of the hotel refuses to acknowledge these issues or take accountability and resolve them.||Shortly after unravelling the abovementioned issues and noting how much of a health hazard it was with the reception staff (who seemed apologetic and shocked after viewing the photographic evidence), we merely requested to be placed into another room in the interim. We were told that unfortunately this could not be done until 10am the following morning due to there being no availability. The staff also suggested that cleaning be carried out in the morning, however we told them this was simply unacceptable.||We then requested to be reimbursed for the cost of the hotel on the basis that we were not aware of the true, poorly maintained condition of the rooms which posed a significant health hazard. The reception staff advised us that we would need to seek reimbursement through booking.com as we booked through them.||We immediately reported the issue via the booking.com website and our request to waive the cancellation fee/reimbursement was immediately rejected by the owner of the hotel on the basis of “simple change of mind” and we were told that “there is no problem with the room” – this couldn’t be further from the truth as we explained to the owner the reasoning was due to the poor condition of the room and it being a health hazard. We even supplied photographs as evidence of this.||Soon thereafter we checked out of Hotel Pimavera as we simply could not risk our health staying for as long as we had intended. We then received information anonymously advising that the owner of Hotel Pimavera frequently changes the name of the hotel/business after receiving enough bad reviews. This is a HUGE red flag and we urge anyone and everyone to reconsider staying here, as well as warning others/locals.||We endeavour to report Hotel Pimavera to the tourism board to ensure as far as reasonably possible the owner is held accountable for the issues that we and others have reported.

Good place to stay but the free breakfast was very simple & towels are not full sized, only hand towels. Staff were lovely and it was a very convenient location for shopping and food. The staff allowed me to use their printer to print out our tickets for the train…very helpful.

Negatives / Improvement: Drainage, Super small towels (hand towel sized)
Tip: Make sure all floor traps and sink and bathtub are plugged after use to avoid unpleasant sewage smell and bring your own towels as the towels provided are extremely small. Reception is on 11 Floor, in building signs are in local language, but look for the hotel logo. Entrance is at the back/side of the ground floor Arcade.
