서울특별시 종로구의 행정을 담당하는 곳. 주변에 경복궁, 청와대, 광화문등 유명한 장소들이 많고 집회도 많이 있다.

신청사를 착공중이어서 임시로 사용중에 있으며 지상에 주차장이 있다.

친환경차의 경우 50퍼센트 감면이 되니 참고하자. 그리고 23년 8월 31일 기준으로 전기차 충전이 무료이다

종로구청과 종로구청 옆에 있는 종로소방서를 통합 철거 후 종로구청, 종로구의회, 종로구보건소, 서울소방재난본부, 서울종합방재센터, 종로소방서 6개 기관을 통합한 통합 신청사를 짓고 있다. 2022년 5월 착공, 2024년 10월 준공 예정

난장판의 전용이다.아무곳에서나 흡연자의 담배연기.불법현수막.분양삐끼.일방통행 불법주.정차.보여주기식 단속.종로구청.종로경찰서.혜화경찰서.입맛대로 단속.

We stumbled to this Historical site of one Korean’s King Gongmin’s shrine by an accident that while we were walking around the neighborhood. There were walking trails and steps along the side of the Hills of this area. It was a very quiet area that you could feel the nature surrounding you. This place was cover with all the buildings and tall apartments around the bottom of this site. Further down there was the Hongik University nearby. This shrine was very small and we were very fortunate that there was a gentleman so kind to us and let us in to see and took some pictures. It took us almost an hour going up and down the trails and was lost sometime before we finally reached this place. There were some groups of middle schoolers nearby accompanied by their teachers also stopped in for a visit.

Not very helpful company. Even though, the building is right next to a United States Embassy, it is hypocritical. Shouldn't they go above and beyond to help foreigners out to do through legal methods. I think this company should be reevaluated by both the Korean Govt and the United States Government and also to reevaluate the staff because customer service recently has been poor. US Military — Avoid this office. Bring a Korean friend with you and go to literally any other ward office. This office is petty and they have horrible customer service. They look for reasons to turn you away.

The first time we went, they nitpicked my wife’s singleness letter. They made us return to her embassy and redo the letter just because it didn’t have the words “and is eligible for marriage.” Embassy was flabbergasted, as were we, especially since the letter literally said my wife was single. When we tried to reason with the worker, she suddenly became aggressive and pretended like she couldn’t speak English (after telling us what the problem was…in English.)

After fixing the singleness letter, we came back a second time. The singleness letter referenced my wife’s passport number and her local ID number. Instead of cross-referencing the internationally accepted passport, they chose to cross-reference her ID card. Even though her embassy had already translated it, they made us go back and translate it again, line by line. Why not check the passport?

The next day, we went to a ward office in Incheon and got it done in 15 minutes. No issues, no drama.

오늘 아침 동생과 함께 종로구청 종합민원실을 방문했습니다
저는 외국인 신분이고 동생은 내국인이라 상속관련 준비서류가 많아 한번 방문으로 모든 서류를 빠짐없이 준비할 수 있을까 걱정이 많았는데 담당자 김자영선생님이 꼼꼼하게 잘 챙겨 주시고 친절하게 설명해 주셔서 정말 감사했습니다
"항상 밝은 모습으로 정성껏 모시겠습니다" 라고 쓰인 문구처럼
밝은 모습으로 대해 주어서 마음이 따뜻했답니다
