The campus is calm, quite, nature and animal friendly. However it is not convenient for students to go grocery or shopping.

UNIST a top ranked university in South Korea mainly focusing on STEM majors. It is one of the four ISTs in South Korea. It has a very neat & clean and modern campus with all advanced facilities for topnotch research and living. This beautiful campus is surrounded by many high hills. UNIST is the only university in Korea which conduct it's all academic programmes in 100% English and all foreign students here are supported by handsome amount of scholarship.

Campus is very isolated, restaurants are very limited, it takes more than one hour to reach city center.
Environment, study and research options are quite good.

A very good environment for researchers and graduate students. Surrounded by mountains with a small stream running through the campus provides a very calm and nature instigated area adding to the beauty and prestige of the University. The university does not only stand out domestically but also overseas for its contribution towards the research and development area making a better future for everyone around the globe.
